Patriots Point

We got carried away having so much fun on the U.S.S. Yorktown Aircraft Carrier at Patriots Point!  Thank you to the 80! scouts and parents who joined us.  The trip included touring the U.S.S. Yorktown, a boat ride and tour of Fort Sumter, lunch on the Pier and time for lots of fellowship and fun.  Now that Patriots Point and Winter is a wrap, let’s talk about Spring and Summer!

Pack 236 upcoming Outdoor Activities

Spring Campouts will be organized by Dens, no pack-wide campout.  If your Scout is interested in camping out this Spring, please reach out to your Den Leader.  The Outdoor Activity Team will coordinate your campout with your Den Leader!

Important Volunteer and Leader Information

Bert Adams Scout Reservation!!!!

Parent volunteers AND a trained leader participate with their Scouts to ensure the program stays fun for everyone.

Covington, GA (45 miles from SS)

The below parent/scout ratios are set by Bert Adams to ensure the safety of all campers (based on the rank your Scout will be working on next year):

$195 per Cub Scout; $85 per Adult

Tigers, Wolves, Bears: 1:1 Parent Ratio

Pack 236 Represented by Chuck Olson

Webelos:  1 Scout - 1 Parent
2-8 Scouts, 1 Leader + and additional parent per 4 Scouts

Registration will be provided via for the July 9th -12th session – the Registration Page is currently under construction for this event, but we’re aiming to have it launched by this weekend.  

Cub Scout Day Camps – 2 Options

July 17-22

June 5 - 8

Westminster Summer Fritz Orr Camp

Wills Park, Equestrian Center in Alpharetta

$160 per Cub Scout, $50 per Tag-along (Volunteers Only)

$120 per scout

8:30 AM – 4:30 PM  

2:30 – 8:30 PM

Each Pack must designate 1 Pack Volunteer (parent) for every 5 Scouts from the Pack; Rising 1st graders must have a Tiger Adult partner

All Packs with registered campers will be required to meet the 3:1 Camper to Full-time Adult Volunteer ratio; Rising 1st graders must have a Tiger Adult partner

For Day Camp to be functional and fun, please note that Day Camp must be staffed by parent volunteers!

All the details on camps and Camp Cards fundraiser options for your scout to earn his way to camp at our March 20 Pack Meeting.

Outdoor Activity Team

The Outdoor Activity Team plans year-round activities for the Pack!  We are looking for more volunteers to work together at periodic planning meetings, research and reserve Camp-Out and Camp-In options, and support the Pack with event communications.  Help craft the Pack’s outdoor activities and the FIRST TO KNOW the Pack’s schedule! Please email your contact information to to join the Team!  Our next planning meeting will be held during the Pack Meeting on Monday, March 20th from 6:30-7:30pm.
